CASUARINA DENTAL has welcomed a new General Practitioner, Dr Leila Omera, who has a holistic approach to general practice, anti-ageing and rejuvenating therapies.
Dr Omera (pictured below) is a passionate Cabarita local who grew up and completed her education and training on the Gold Coast, before moving to Kingscliff to undertake a General Practitioner Fellowship.
Prior to medicine, Dr Omera’s background was in pharmaceutical science.
“I have a strong connection to the Tweed Shire, bringing up my two children here and enjoying what this beautiful community and lifestyle has to offer,” she said.
Dr Omera’s special interests have always been dermatology and women’s health and in recent years, she has developed a passion for aesthetic medicine.
“I offer a wide range of treatments to help patients look and feel their best,” she said.
“Our goal is to deliver results to patients that are natural, safe and evidence based, utilising the latest that scientific research has to offer.
“We offer natural innovative anti-ageing and rejuvenating therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
“We also harness the body’s own restorative powers, PRP is fast gaining popularity for its use in anti-ageing, chronic sports injuries and vaginal rejuvenation (the O-shot).
“I also have a special interest in holistic approaches to general practice and want to further our reach in the Tweed/Northern Rivers area, to deliver positive and life changing results to more people in the community.”
