DOUBLEMASK YOUTH Theatre Co is bringing a comic-book-style interpretation of Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea to the Murwillumbah Civic Centre on December 2-3.
Imagine the story come alive before your eyes, as you dive deep into the unknown of the ocean, with many extravagant characters.
With characters such as Captain Nemo played by Jordan Flight, Ned Land by Eilish Wilkinson, Professor Arronax by Kiana Janetzki, and Conseil by Jasmine Cooper-McCredie.
The students and many more have worked hard together with their teacher Lachlan Glasby to create their own version of this play, covering all aspects from acting, directing, costumes, makeup, promoting and lighting.
The students will perform on December 2 and 3 at the Murwillumbah Civic Centre 7:30pm. Adult tickets are $10, and children, student and senior tickets $5.
