A 46-YEAR-OLD Tweed Heads man is in a critical condition with serious head injuries following a fall off his bicycle at Coolangatta overnight (Sunday, October 16).
Queensland Ambulance responded to reports the man had fallen off his bicycle at Scott Street. At around 7.45pm (QLD time) the man was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital
The man sustained serious head injuries as a result of the incident and is in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
