TWEED SHIRE solar business and local employer SAE Group is pleased to announce they have reached another milestone by achieving awards in both their health and safety and management systems recently.
SAE Group managing director Glen Ashton said the team was proud to have received the two certifications from Horizon Resources International (HRI) Assurance Services.
HRI Assurance Services is a third-party assessor that undertake their audits with impartiality, objectively and with stringent processes.
“Unbiased field experts analyse evidence-based criteria to ensure companies meet the required standards, prior to achieving certification, which allows customers piece of mind when choosing to work with HRI certified businesses,” a statement from HRI said.
SAE Group has been awarded two certificates; an AS/NZS 4801 and an ISO9001.
These two certificates relate to health and safety practices as well as quality management systems respectively.
“Being awarded these certificates is incredibly important to us all at SAE Group,” Mr Ashton said.
SAE Group operations director Nathan Gudsell said the areas at the forefront of who we are as a company, “they guide and govern our systems”.
“It is paramount that our work, no matter the size or scale, is carried out to the best of our ability,” he said.
Mr Ashton said he believes the awards reflect the company’s values.
“It’s fantastic to be recognised for our dedication and approach to health and safety processes and quality management systems,” he said.
“We take these aspects into account regularly as they effect everyday operations.”
The HRI assessment said SAE Group have proven their commitment in putting health, safety and wellbeing at the forefront of operations to ensure a safe workplace; reducing risk and workplace incidents and accidents.
“To ensure the group meet key stakeholder and customer needs while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements, they have demonstrated strong quality management systems in place,” the HRI statement read.
“SAE Group is proud to add these certifications to their portfolio, as they are constantly striving to ensure a happy, healthy and safe workplace for all staff and contractors, as well as continually aiming to improve systems and processes to ensure ongoing performance excellence.”
