Naked man pepper sprayed at Kingscliff

TWEED POLICE were forced to pepper spray an aggressive, naked man at Kingscliff on Thursday, November 10.

Shortly before 8.30am police were called to the vicinity of Wommin Bay Road, Cudgen in relation to a naked male who had been struck by a number of vehicles and was bleeding.

Upon attending police were confronted with a naked bleeding male suffering from a number of self-inflicted injuries.  The male was aggressive and had to be sprayed with pepper spray to prevent any further injuries.

He was treated at the scene by ambulance before being escorted to the Tweed Heads Hospital.  The man was later returned to a hospital facility in Queensland.
