MURWILLUMBAH MUSTANGS have unveiled their designated charity polo shirts for purchase this week and at their annual charity day on Saturday, July 21, at Stan Sercombe Oval.
The Mustang’s charity this year is Wedgetail Retreat, which is a non-government funded 24/7 specialised palliative care facility.
Mustangs President Nigel Lofts said the club was hoping plenty of locals and local businesses would be keen to purchase the specially designed charity polo this year.
“The polos are available for purchase at $60 each which includes entry into the game against Cudgen Hornets,” he said.
“There’s also limited numbers so get in quick.”
Mustangs secretary Darin Skillington said he wanted to encourage the community to get down to Stan Sercombe Oval and show their support for the Mustangs against the Hornets.
“It would be great to have the local community show their support at this important charity fundraiser and game against Cudgen,” he said.
Gates open at 1.15pm with the Under 18s game followed by Under 9s game, Reserve Grade at 2.45pm and A-grade at 4.30pm against the Cudgen Hornets.
