A MAN has died following a two-vehicle crash near Palmers Road, Terragon, this morning (Tuesday, August 7).
Tweed Police said it was about 10.20am when emergency services were called to Kyogle Road, near Palmers Road, following reports of crash involving a motorcycle and a truck.
Police said the male rider died at the scene and has not been formally identified.
The male truck driver was not injured. Their ages are not known at this stage.
Officers from Tweed/Byron Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Traffic diversions are in place as Kyogle Road remains closed (12pm). Motorists are advised to check livetraffic.com for more information.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
