CHINDERAH TAVERN

Come along for great entertainment with The Sally Sa band kicking off at 5pm and the SwampCatz Duo taking us into the new year from 9pm. Fireworks begin at 9pm so make sure you get in early. Bookings recommended.

COOLANGATTA

The Southern Gold Coast will welcome the new year with two fireworks displays at Coolangatta Beach this New Year’s Eve. With displays taking place at 9pm and midnight, both families and revellers can enjoy the displays by Queensland’s largest fireworks company, thanks to divisional funding by Councillor Gail O’Neill. The early display will be for children and families to enjoy, while the midnight display will officially ring in the new year in 2017.

CRABBES CREEK COMMUNITY HALL

Enjoy entertainment for the whole family including two live bands, fire twirlers, a jumping castle, bucking bull and so much more.  Food and drinks are for sale or you can bring your own. Don’t miss the two big fireworks shows at 9pm and midnight. Adult $15, Child (5 -12 years) $5, Young child (under 5) free. Ride pass $5 each.

KINGSCLIFF BEACH HOTEL

This New Year’s Eve will be a night to remember. Celebrate with Lisa Hunt supported by Mr Ed kicking off at 6pm downstairs in the beer garden. Courtesy bus available. For table reservations on the evening, please book online.

MURWILLUMBAH SERVICES CLUB

Choose an entree and main from our specials menu and receive a free bottle of champagne or wine, just $30 per person or $55 per couple. SALT VILLAGE, KINGSCLIFF

Say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017 at Salt Village with a fireworks spectacular. Fireworks will light up the sky from a family-friendly time of 9pm and can be viewed from the beach-facing verandahs of Salt Bar Beach Bar and Bistro, Peppers Salt Resort and Spa, Mantra on Salt Beach and the eastern end of Central Park.

SELF-REALISATION ASHRAM, DOON DOON

Anyone who would like to spend New Year’s Eve with meditation, contemplation, spiritual wisdom and upliftment, delicious food, and warm and welcoming company is invited to celebrate the coming of the new year at the Self-Realisation Ashram with Sri Avinash Do. The program will consist of: meditation, satsang, bhajans (devotional singing/kirtan), prayer for world peace, a vegetarian dinner, dessert and a movie screening. Cost by donation. Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Club Banora, with free live entertainment, a giant pool party and double the fun with two fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight. Entertainment kicks off at 4pm through to 8pm with music from Delisch, and continues with a double bill to take the music and free entertainment throughout the night and into 2017.

Free live entertainment from The Frocks live cover band, which has won numerous awards plus various other music alternatives, 10pm to 2.30am.

On New Year’s Eve, The Stage will pump out more than 16 solid hours of non-stop free live music and entertainment from 10am right through to 2.30am (QLD time) on New Year’s Day.
