The Anglican Parish of Kingscliff are holding a fundraising Christmas Cake stall on November 26 from 8am at St James’ Church Kingscliff. Christmas cakes and puddings a speciality  along with other homemade goodies.

Friends of The Tweed Regional Museum has released the latest calendar 2017, with a collection of historical and incredible Tweed images. Printed on high gloss stock the calendar was printed locally by Print Spot and is available for $12 at The Tweed Regional Museum, Murwillumbah, Cartridge World, Tweed Heads South and at  Anderson’s, Main Street Murwillumbah.

Tweed Valley Spanish Language Conversation Group. U3A  is a self -help education movement which caters for people in the third age, and for those who have retired or semi retired, to live life. Classes are held in several areas including Tweed Heads, Coolangatta, Tugun and Palm Beach.There is no great divide between tutors and students. As U3A is a self fund,  not for profit organization, volunteer tutors are always welcome. Classes include a variety of activities including Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Movement to Music,Gentle Stretch and Light Exercises also languages such as French, Italian or Spanish call 07 55347333

Tickets for the Tweed Hospital Auxiliary’s Christmas Raffle are now on sale at various venues around the Tweed.  The tickets are $2 each and will be on sale until Friday 16 December when the raffle will be drawn.   The 1st prize $500 cash, 2nd prize is a Christmas Hamper with a $50 voucher and the 3rd prize is $100 worth of Scratchie tickets.   All proceeds from the raffle will go to purchasing necessary equipment for the Tweed Hospital.
