Combined Tweed View Clubs invite everyone to “Walk with View” on Sunday, May 28. Starting at 11am from the Northern end of the Tweed Boat Harbour and strolling along Wharf street and back. Everyone is invited. The aim of the walk is to promote the work of View in educating disadvantaged Australian Children to obtain the true potential. There is no cost to anyone. At the finish of the 30 to 40 minute walk, there will be a BYO Barbeque in the park and you can get to know the ladies from View who are eager to tell you all about these wonderful local clubs that are a valued part of the Smith Family. The Tweed Hospital Auxiliary will be holding its Annual Fashion Parade on Friday, May 26 at the Twin Towns Function Centre, 8 Boyd Street, Tweed Heads. Doors open at 9.30am for a 10am start. Morning Tea is included in admission of $20 per person. Tickets are available from May 12 at the Tweed Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop. Pre-purchase your tickets as seating is limited.
