The Murwillumbah Cancer Support Group The Murwillumbah Cancer Support Group meets from 10am to12 midday on the second Monday of every month at the Community Health Centre on the corner of Nullum and Wollumbin streets. The Tweed Hospital Auxiliary will be holding its “Mini Fete” on Saturday, June 17 from 8am to 1pm in the Tweed Hospital front car park. All proceeds go to purchasing equipment for the Tweed Hospital. At the moment we do not need any more donations at this time, the Auxiliary has limited space to store goods. We are very grateful for past donations and will ask for more in the future.

Twin Towns Evening View Club’s next meeting is on Wednesday, June 14 6.30pm. Held at the Blue Room of the Tweed Heads Bowls Club. A great meal and guest speaker Bernadette Lawson will talk on Pearls of Wisdom for the next generation. Ladies from visiting View clubs and new members are most welcome. Caldera Country Music Club will be holding their next social on Sunday, June 11 from 12 noon at South Tweed Sport Club. Due to Coolie Rocks Caldera will be in the Horizon Function Rooms. The Blind & Vision Impaired Support Group  are seeking a female carer, who would be working in conjunction with a volunteer driver, to accompany members on outings. The Miss Tweed Ball 2017 will continue with  Crystal Creek on June 3, Uki on June 17, Tyalgum on June 24. Dancing from 8pm to midnight. All sections contested, Adults $10, teenagers $5, children $2, Family $30. Music by Trilogy, Great country supper provided.
