Lung Foundation Australia, a national charity supporting those with lung disease, are hosting a ‘Better Living with Your Lung Disease’ patient education seminar for people living in the Gold Coast and Tweed Valley. The seminar is hosted at the Tweed Bowls Club and invites local healthcare professionals to talk to patients about their lung health and what they can do to live well with a lung disease. The topics are focusing on medicines and their instructions for lung disease and how to exercise with a lung disease. Wednesday, July 12. Cost $10. Bookings 1800 654 301 by July 5.

The Tweed Hospital Auxiliary will be holding its “Mini Fete” on Saturday, June 17 from 8am to 1pm in the Tweed Hospital front car park. All proceeds go to purchasing equipment for the Tweed Hospital. At the moment we do not need any more donations at this time, the Auxiliary has limited space to store goods. We are very grateful for past donations and will ask for more in the future.
