Murwillumbah Evening View Club next dinner meeting will be on Monday 6th March. Meet at Tumbulgum boat ramp 5:15- 5:30pm for 1 hr river cruise (byo drinks for cruise), followed by dinner at Tumbulgum Tavern at 7pm. Cost $35. Murwillumbah and District Garden Club annual meeting will be held on Monday February 27 from 7pm at the Jessie McMillan Hall, Wollumbin Street, Murwillumbah. President Wayne Tagget will present his annual report and there will be an election of officers for the coming year followed by supper and fellowship. Friends of the Tweed Regional Museum are holding a fundraising trip to Tamborine Mountain on Sunday, March 5. It includes morning tea, options of visiting the Heritage Centre or Gallery Walk then lunch and wine tasting at Cedar Creek Estate and the possibility (time permitting) of another wine tasting at Heritage Wines.
