Byrne Family Reunion: Bob and Betty Byrne, locals of Murwillumbah for about 60
years, will host a reunion on Friday, April 21, at the Murwillumbah Services Club in the afternoon. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Murwillumbah and District Garden Club meet on April 24 from 7pm when Mary Smith of Murwillumbah will speak on growing African violets. There will be benching, monthly meeting and chat with a cuppa. Venue is Jessie McMillan Hall, Wollumbin Street and new members and guests are welcome. STOKERS SIDING

Stoker Siding/ Dunbible will start the Miss Tweed Ball Series 2017 season. Mark the date being the 29th of April from 8pm.  Tickets are available at the door; there will be raffles, lucky spot prizes, and a variety of dances.  This is a family night with no alcohol.

TWEED HEADS

The National Servicemen’s Association of Australia will be selling Anzac badges from April 18 to 24 at Twin Towns first floor from 12pm to 8pm, Centro Mall outside Target 10am to 3pm and Tweed Heads Bowls Club 12pm to 8pm. We have a good collection of old and new. Come along and show your support to our veterans.

The Tweed Hospital Auxiliary is holding a Trivia Night at South Tweed Community Centre, Cnr Heffron St & Minjungbal Drv South Tweed on Wednesday April, 26.  Doors open at 6.30 pm for 7pm start. The Blind & Vision Impaired Support Group is a dynamic group which meets regularly for enjoyable social and support functions. We welcome new members. Some transport is available.
