THE CHILLINGHAM Voices Community Choir will provide a light-hearted evening of entertainment accompanied by some amazing soups and desserts on Friday, July 28.

Members of the choir will display their varied musical and acting abilities in a series of acts interspersed with opportunities for supping and sipping.

This is an annual event where members of the public have an opportunity to view what is otherwise a self-entertainment exercise by members of the choir.

Besides individual and group acts, there will be items presented by the whole choir including the very clever “Jabberwocky” by Sam Pottle and the ethereal madrigal by Orlando Gibbons  – “The Silent Swan”.

This cabaret style event will help to raise money for the choir’s next “overseas” excursion to Stradbroke Island.

It is highly recommended that members of the public make bookings in advance because in past years, the hall in Numinbah Road, has been fully booked for this event.

For more information please contact  Sue on  0266 791139  or Liz on 0266 791190 for bookings.
