Cenzo Bar is now open Friday nights, just in time for summer, serving cocktails, wine, beer, and Italian inspired food.

Open from 5.30pm, Murwillumbah can relax at Cenzo Bar, listen to music, eat great food and catch up with friends in a vibrant el fresco atmosphere.

Owner and Head Chef, Jed Sayers is excited to be expanding his successful café to a bar at night, “The feedback’s been phenomenal, with people really appreciating having a place like this in town.”

So far Cenzo Bar’s tempting menu has included a meatball, caramalised onion, and olive pizza, Shroom Brothers mushroom risotto, and tapas style bar snacks such as croquettes stuffed with artichoke and goats cheese. The menu will change weekly, this Friday the claypot baked prawns with chorizo, feta, and fino sherry sounds pretty tasty.

Cenzo Bar, with its subtle lighting and funky playlist is a place people can visit before a show, meet up after work, celebrate a birthday, or simply sit back and relax as they enjoy a balmy summer’s night. You can expect to see classic cocktails like espresso martinis and mojitos, as well as some of Jed’s own creations like the Murbah Sunset and Wry Smile.

Cenzo café first opened in 2012 and has become well known for its quality breakfast and lunch, as well as its fabulous coffee. It now employs fifteen wonderful staff whose friendly and dedicated efforts have helped create the warm and happy environment that Cenzo has become well known for.

“This direction has given us a new and exciting focus, with all staff putting their hands up to taste test the cocktails”, said Jed.
